Bayside is a Bayfront Community located in West Ocean City, MD. The private neighborhood is full of amenities and features a quiet, natural setting.
Bayside is a newer community with single-family homes, townhomes, and undeveloped lots. It features an impressive amount of amenities and is surrounded by a serene, natural environment. The entire property is 126 acres with 64 acres of common and buffer area. The private neighborhood wraps around a large pond and is perfect for outdoor activities like dog walking, jogging or biking.
Toll Brothers began developing and selling homes in Bayside in 2006. Development was stopped short because of the 2008 housing market downturn. Construction has not resumed since. This explains the large number of vacant lots and open space. One unique feature of the neighborhood is an extremely long 1300+ ft pier that extends into the bay toward Assateague Island. The ten minute walk offers wildlife sights including waterfowl, otters and bay critters like crabs.
The HOA covers the cost of landscaping, road maintenance, snow removal, and trash removal. In the Clubhouse, there is a large community space and kitchen that can be rented for events.
